Founded Count in 2019 after fifteen years in practice, on one rule: every client's month closed by the tenth. Keeps a full book of clients herself so she never forgets what the work is, and is the one who tells a prospect, gently, when they do not need us.
Marlon Grant
Bookkeeper
Retail and hospitality — the high-volume books where a week untended becomes a mess. Reconciles weekly, chases receipts harder than the owners do, and writes the plainest pack of the four.
Aisha Barnett
Bookkeeper & payroll
Runs the payroll side and the statutory filings, and keeps the service-business and contractor books. The person who makes sure the tax is set aside every month so January is quiet.

The onboarding one: takes a new client's history off the old software or out of the shoebox, ties it out, and has them current inside a month. Never once made a client feel bad about the state of their books.
How we work
One rule, kept for six years
Every client's month is closed by the tenth of the next. It is the promise the whole practice is built around, and the reason we do not take more clients than four people can close on time. When we are full, we say so and keep a short list, rather than sign you and slip.
Where we are
New Kingston, and mostly remote
Most of the work happens on the bank feeds and the apps, so most clients we see once or twice a year and speak to when it matters. If you would rather sit across a desk, the office is on 6 Cargill Avenue and the coffee is on us.
